Yi (Ї ї; italics: ''Ї ї'') is a letter of the Cyrillic script. It represents the iotated vowel sound , like the pronunciation of in Yiddish", and is used in the Ukrainian and Rusyn alphabets. In various romanization systems, ї is represented by Latin ''ï, ji, yi'' or ''i'', the most common being ''yi''.
